My first impression of it was that it would be a delicate sort of orange, which is why I got it in the first place. I have a ton of strong orange lipsticks, and I thought one in a lighter shade would be a nice change. I was right. It's a pale shade of orange indeed -- a cheery, peachy-apricot color. It's different, which I like because it throws people off, heh. Some people might find it too strange to wear though.
Delicate however, it is not. The formula is a bit thick, so it goes on thick on the lips and I have to work it in so my lips can absorb the color. It is also pretty unforgiving, and tends to show the crevices on lips, especially on dry, cracked ones. It has an odd scent and taste too; a sort of perfumey, medicinal one.
I love the color, but I don't like the formula. I heard that the other Show Off lacquers have different consistencies as well, so I should try other shades and see how I like them.
