Last weekend, I noticed that my bag was surprisingly light. I was actually toting around a bunch of things I don't normally carry around with me. I had to do a lot of waiting that weekend (at the salon, at the dentist), so I made sure I had stuff to help me while away the time. Despite that though, my bag also turned out to be really pared down. I'm the kind of person who would put my entire house in my bag, so I thought my purse that particular day was worth documenting. Besides, I haven't done a "What's In My Bag?" post in over a year (last one as April last year). It's about time I posted one again.

Summer is making me break out all my colorful stuff, and for weeks now I've been using my orange Cole Vintage satchel. My bag is a lot different these days because of the change in seasons, so it was definitely time for a "What's In My Bag?" post. Here we go.

Last Sunday I went to one of the neighborhood salons for a manicure, and since it was so near, I only brought a clutch with me. (It's a dainty, gold New Look clutch that my friend Emz gave me from Singapore. It's the perfect sunny Sunday purse. Thanks Emzy!) It's a rare event when I'm not toting my entire house around with me, so I snapped a pic of my bag when I got home for a Purse Peek.

Mango wallet, Gin - my iPhone 5s, blue Untangler, Dior Addict Lipstick in Beige Casual (my favorite nude lipstick for casual days), NYX Matte Nail Polish in Rose (because I was getting my nails done), and a handkerchief.

Now here's something different for Throwback Thursday. This is a peek into what was in my bag back in January 2011! The photo was taken during one of my weekend visits to my parents' house with my then-boyfriend-now-husband. I just found it in my computer and I don't think I ever posted this anywhere. It's fun seeing how different my bag is now compared to three years ago. Some things are the same, but a lot of things have changed too.

I spent last Saturday at our Cavite house, visiting my dad with my husband. My bag was filled to the brim because I made sure I brought a bunch of things for me to do while we were there, or in the car on the way to and from there. I figured it was a good time for me to do a Purse Peek.

When I went out yesterday I noticed that my bag didn't feel like I was toting the entire house including the kitchen sink with me, which is what I usually do, heh. I just ran errands, met up with a friend briefly, and did a bit of shopping yesterday, so I somehow didn't toss a lot of stuff in my bag. I was amazed that my purse seemed so streamlined, so I decided to do a What's In My Bag thing and snap a pic of my bag and its contents.
